He was born on November 2, 1940 in Logan, Utah to Bonita (Hancey) Lewis and Dean Lewis and passed away on September 2, 2021 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was a United States Army Veteran and a construction manager.

Survivors are:

wife: Christine of the home;

1 daughter: Janet Lyle of Midway, GA;

2 sons: Frank Metz and Gina of Greenwood, AR and Michael Metz and Brandy of Foley, AL;

10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;

1 sister: Linda Bronson of Idaho;

2 brothers: Brent Lewis of Plain City, UT and Tom Lewis of Ogdon, UT;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Jed Lewis.
