He was born on April 26, 1978 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Marla (Chapman) Turner and Michael McAlister and passed away on November 21, 2019 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Telitha Summerilin McAlister on September 7, 2002 in Gore, Oklahoma. He lost his dad at age 7 and overcome a troubled childhood, even at a young age seemed to know what he needed and who he needed to be surrounded by. He started living with his grandparents at age 12. When he was a freshman he adopted the family of Kenneth and Jane Standifird and their children, Scott, Greg, Kristen and Kellie. He was funny, almost goofy at times, always making us laugh with no filter. You knew where you stood with Jayme, he always told it like it was. He served in the Marine Corps from 1997 to 2001 as a E0352 Rifleman Leader. He commanded everyone’s attention without speaking. There was never a dull moment, he was always the life of the party and very persistent. Whatever he had in his head, he made it happen. He had an answer for any question you asked of him, and was always willing to help no matter the situation. Jayme was a giving and loving father, husband, son and brother who loved everyone. The world lost a great man and everyone should strive to be more like him, the world needs more men and woman like Jayme.
