Funeral service for Jerry Dean Waters, 88 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Vian Church of Christ (across from the bank) in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 2, 1935 in Vian, Oklahoma to Lucy Clyde (Riddle) Waters Bohannon and John Waters, Jr. and passed away on April 20, 2023 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary (Young) Waters on May 25, 1956 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2014. Mr. Waters was a retired Vian Police Officer

Survivors are one daughter, Connie Faye Young of Vian, OK; one son, Randy L. Waters and wife, Winnie, of Vian, OK; 11 grandchildren, Alisha Hart, Misty Hardwick, Chance Waters, Natasha Leonardo, Mary Locust, Angela Locust, Tonya Locust, Monica Locust, Danielle Locust, Angel Locust and Star Locust; 35 great grandchildren, close family friend, Melissa Applegate of Vian, OK; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents, John Waters, Jr. and Lucy Bohannon; his son, Roger D. Waters; one sister, Norma Ackerman and one brother, Calvin Waters.

Active Pallbearers will be Craig Hart, Donnie Hardwick, Roberto Leonardo, Alexi Ramirez and Romero Herrera.

Viewing will be 3 – 8 pm Thursday and 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
