Jerry was an amazing man I knew him as peepaw he barely knew me and he said we give hugs around here when Darin introduced us and he grabbed me a tight Embrace and it felt like the world melted away he loved big had a huge heart and made an impact in my life in just three and a half years he was the grandpa that I never got to have on my own I was with Darin and he was nice enough to share. Thank u Darin for this once in a lifetime impact. I love you peepaw to the moon and back and know that you are so missed and so loved down here I know you're up in heaven now still don't make it real easy for us down here but we know you're going to make a difference Wherever You Are I love you so much

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for the last 40 years. He was one of a kind! He had a heart of gold. He never met anyone he didn’t befriend. If he had nothing good to say about anyone, he wouldn’t say anything at all. He always was pleasant and always had a smile on his face. He loved his family very, very much. I will always appreciate Jerry for two main reasons: allowing me to continue living when we found out his daughter was expecting a child and for the influence he had on that child after I embarked on a military career and was away from home for 22 years. Darin, my son, is a great man, and I attribute that to Jerry, who always put Darin on on a pedestal and loved him fiercely. Thank you for everything you ever did for me, Jerry. Fly high with the angels!
