Jerry Earl 'Jake' Taylor

Funeral Service for Jerry Earl “Jake” Taylor, 79 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at noon on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at 1:00 PM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 28, 1944 in Marble City, Oklahoma to Della Mae (Caseboldt) Masterson and Leonard Melton Taylor and passed away on January 31, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Brenda (England) Taylor in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Taylor was a construction worker, heavy equipment operator and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors are wife, Brenda of the home; three children, Tristan Taylor and Kim of Greenwood, AR, Jerri Sharp and Gary of Muldrow, OK and Kelly Robertson and Randy of Muldrow, OK; five grandchildren, Devon Taylor and Leslie of Van Buren, AR, Zach Sharp of Tulsa, OK, Kenzie Gann and Dakota of Pocola, OK, Garrett Sharp of Muldrow, OK and Ryder Robertson of Muldrow, OK; two sisters, Pat Wylie and Jack of Okmulgee, OK and Betty Ward of Vian, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Faye Bush, Lorene Taylor and Geneva Rogers; and six brothers, Sam, Frank, Clarence, Ed, Dick and Elbert Taylor.

Active Pallbearers will be Devon Taylor, Zach Sharp, Garrett Sharp, Dakota Gann, Ryder Robertson and Ethan Ward.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
