Funeral Service for Jerry Glenn Butler, 80, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Vaughn Cemetery in Gilmore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on October 27, 1940 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Altha Vera (Huddleston) Butler and Glenn McCall Butler and passed away on July 30, 2021 in Euless, Texas. He was married to Mary Elizabeth (Oakes) Miles Butler on July 4, 2000 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2016. Jerry was formerly a transportation operations manager for various trucking companies. He served in the Army Signal Corps and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

2 Daughters: Jamie Michelle Burns and Jamie Amanda Moore;

3 Sons: Gregory McCall Butler, Jeffrey Glenn Butler and James Everette Miles;

9 Grandchildren;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Oakes) Butler; his parents, Glenn and Vera Butler; and his sister, Anita Ruth Miller.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

The family has asked that personal protection be worn to ensure community health while in attendance.
