Funeral Service for Jerry Sam Gilbreath, 82, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Assembly of God Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 25, 1941 in Oakland, California to Myrtle Mae (Thomason) Gilbreath and Samuel Marion Gilbreath and passed away on February 25, 2024 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was married to Joyce (Milligan) Gilbreath on June 18, 1968 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Assembly of God faith. Jerry was a Control Room and Water Treatment Supervisor for Sequoyah Fuels. He was a member of Sallisaw Masonic Lodge #120 and a Third Degree Master Mason for over 40 years.

Survivors are wife, Joyce of the home; two daughters, Sherry Buttery and David of Box Community, OK and Tammy Hailey and Robert of Wagoner, OK; three sons, Mike Gilbreath and Ginger of Grove, OK, Tommy Sam Gilbreath of Vian, OK and Jerry Gilbreath, Jr. and Makayla of Vian, OK; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Isham and Henry of Vian, OK and Gail Beller and Charlie of Muldrow, OK; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Gilbreath of Claremore, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jolene Hunt; his parents; one sister, Tammy Pierce; and one brother, Jack Gilbreath.

Active Pallbearers will be Seth Gilbreath, Bryce Gilbreath, Carlos Rautenberg, Chad Duke, Kyle Gentry and Steven Buttery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Gilbreath, Tom Gilbreath and Jerry Gilbreath, Jr.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
