Jerry Dewayne Spears

Jerry Dewayne Spears, age 76, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on June 22, 1948, in Vian, Oklahoma, to Virgie (Mullen) Spears and Clifford Harvie "Radio" Spears. Throughout his life, Jerry worked in construction.

Jerry is survived by five sons: Jerry Dale Spears of San Antonio, TX, Michael Tehee and Amy of Sallisaw, OK, Jonny Tehee and Kim of Vian, OK, Kelly Hickelheim and Tina of Gore, OK, and Kalem Summerlin and Erin of Gore, OK; one daughter, Megan Chitty and Joshua of Gore, OK; 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers, Troy Spears of Gore, OK, and Clifford "Goat" Spears of Oklahoma City, OK; and one sister, Elaine Webster of California.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two sons, Billy Wayne and Scott Spears; three brothers, Frank, Herman, and Melvin Spears; and two sisters, Ruby Henry and Connie Spears.

A private family service honoring Jerry will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Jerry Dewayne Spears lived a life filled with unwavering love for his family and a commitment to his work. His remarkable journey will be celebrated in the hearts and memories of all who knew him.
