Jesse James Wiswell

Jesse James “Jimmy” Wiswell, 91 of Gans, Oklahoma passed away on November 21, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born on September 26, 1926 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Bertha Mae (Carter) Wiswell and James Franklin Wiswell. He was married to Anita Belle (Eversole) Wiswell on September 29, 1947 in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Wiswell was a U.S. Navy veteran, a farmer and retired from Carnation Milk Company in Tulsa.

Survivors are:

6 daughters and 5 sons in law: Donna and Jack Wann of Gans, OK, Jennifer and Kelvin Limbocker of Collinsville, OK, Vickie and Mike Sowards of Edmon, OK, Dana and Randy Harp of Muldrow, OK, Dena and Kevin Boleen of Kodiak, Alaska and Lisa Joy Wiswell of Broken Arrow, OK

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita; 2 sons, Larry Michael James Wiswell and Robbie Joe Wiswell and 1 sister, Wanda Morgan

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Brent Community Center, South of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brent Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc..
Active pallbearers will be Aaron Limbocker, Jason Limbocker, Rocky Sowards, Jacob Fritchey, Monty Lenington, Ryan Sowards, Jesse Robert Ray Sowards, and Sonny Wann.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Brazil, Randy Harp, Donta Cobb and Stephen Harp .

Viewing will be 4 – 8 pm Friday, 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Sunday.
