Graveside Service for Jesse Wayne Barrett, 58, of Brent, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 28, 1961 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Wanda Belle (Fargo) Barrett and Evert James Barrett and passed away on April 23, 2020 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was married to Deborah Barrett on November 16, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He formerly worked in maintenance at Riverside, Exide Battery and was a rancher. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors are:

wife: Deborah of the home;

children: Josh Barrett and Rebecca of Rogers, OK, Alvin Medlin and Lacy of Lavaca, AR, Crystal Hancock of New Albany, MS, Michael Medlin and Ashley of New Albany, MS and D.J. Medlin of New Albany, MS;

8 grandchildren;

parents: James and Wanda Barrett of Brent, OK;

1 sister: Lisa Romero and Bobby of Brent, OK;

niece: Megan Cheater and Patrick of Brent, OK;

nephew: Dustin Baker and Shila of Redland, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

Active Pallbearers will be Darin Turner, Zeke Johnson, John Kelton, Chuck Morton, Robert Harris and Bob Bateman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Milton Spain and Craig Dutour.

Viewing will be 2 – 6 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
