Funeral Service for Jewell Dene Teague, 82, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 5, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Sylvia (Davis) Hines and Clayton Mayo Hines, Sr. and passed away on January 29, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Sonny Teague on May 25, 1960 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mrs. Teague was a homemaker.

Survivors are husband, Sonny of the home; one daughter, Linda Falleur and Bill of Muskogee, OK; three sons, Chip Teague of Sallisaw, OK, Donald Dean Teague of Sallisaw, OK and Dusty Teague of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, Amanda Keeton and Rob of Sallisaw, OK, Jennifer Billings and Brent of Poteau, OK, Joseph Teague and Elizabeth of Sallisaw, OK, Bobby Jo Simmons and Leland of Hemphill, TX, Trevor Teague and Hannah of Bixby, OK and Mesa Falleur of Muskogee, OK; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Caves of Sallisaw, OK, Marie Bolin and Gary of Sallisaw, OK, Nancy Lineberry and Allen of Sallisaw, OK, Sylvia Hines-Goodwin of Sallisaw, OK, and Imogene Cheek of Sallisaw, OK; two brothers, Thomas Hines and Iva of Brushy, OK, and Clayton Hines and Paula of Brushy, OK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edith Hines; two brothers, Edward and Ozzie Hines; and brother-in-law, Calvin Caves.

Active Pallbearers will be Joseph Teague, Trevor Teague, Seth Smith, Mesa Falleur, Dagan Grizzle and Mason Teague.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 5 – 7 pm.
