Jim Meek

Funeral service for Jim Meek, 67 of Muskogee, Oklahoma will be at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 29, 1955 in Bakersfield, California to Viola (Barnes) Meek and William Henry Meek and passed away on March 15, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Cindy (Hofer) Meek on June 18, 1976 in Lamont, California. Mr. Meek was a U.S. Navy Veteran, oil field tool pusher and real estate investor.

Survivors are wife, Cindy of the home; one son, Joey Meek and Lea of Muskogee, OK; two granddaughters, Lindsey and Jordyn Meek, both of Muskogee, OK; one brother, Roy Lynn Meek and Shawnee of Bakersfield, CA; nephew, Jason Meek and Stephanie of Ventura, CA; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Wayne Meek.

Active Pallbearers will be Joey Meek, Jason Meek, Aron Stanford, Mike Courtney, Jason Dry and Jacob Dry.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday, 10 am – 8 pm Monday and 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 2 – 5 pm Sunday.
