Jimmie Lou (Ward) Whitekiller

Memorial services for Jimmie Lou Whitekiller, 84 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 20, 1935 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to Evelyn (Bynum) Ward and Howard Ward and passed away on December 14, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Dave Whitekiller on May 30, 1977 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2001. Mrs. Whitekiller was a teacher at Sallisaw and surrounding areas for over 20 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, OK.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Lou Ann Monroe Gladd of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Tommy Monroe of Tahlequah, OK;

5 grandchildren: Garrett Gladd, Ethan and Ja-Li-Si Gladd, Ashley Watts, Ryan and Shari Monroe and Lauren Monroe;

4 great grandchildren;

several nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dave Whitekiller and brother: Dale Ward

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
