Jimmy Shawn Jeremiah

Cremation services for Jimmy Shawn Jeremiah, age 50, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, are being conducted by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Shawn was born on July 28, 1974, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Melinda Gail DeFosse and Larry Dale Jeremiah. He passed away on April 19, 2025, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was an automotive mechanic and it is said, “to know him was to love him.”

He is survived by his son, Shawn Michael Jeremiah, of Muldrow, OK; a recently discovered daughter, Tiffany Geier, of Monkey Island, OK; and his grandson and pride and joy, Maverick "Mavi" Jeremiah of Muldrow, OK. Additionally he leaves his mother, Melinda DeFosse of Roland, OK; one sister, Deanna Thornburg and Michael of Roland, OK; a brother, Scotty Jeremiah, of Lubbock, TX; and a half-sister, Whitney Plank, of Muldrow, OK.

Jimmy is also remembered by his three nephews, Scotty Jeremiah, Brock Jeremiah, and Kaegen Lewis, all from Roland and Muldrow, OK; as well as his nieces, Sarah Jeremiah, of Lubbock, TX, Madison Thornburg, of Roland, OK, and Kylie Denise, of Muldrow, OK. He is survived by numerous other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda; his father; as well as his grandmothers, Norma Millar and Margaret Jeremiah; and grandfather, Claude Jeremiah.
