Jimmy (Jim) grew up on a farm in Ecru, Mississippi. As a child, Jim was introduced to being in the cotton fields in a VERY unique way. His mother and older siblings would pull him on their cotton sacks when he was in diapers. As Jim got a little older, he rode on the tractor with his father during the planting, plowing, and harvesting season. At an incredibly young age, Jim began to drive the tractor and trailer to the cotton field during cotton season and the bean truck during soybean season.  By the time he was teenager, Jim was operating larger complicated machinery such as huge tractors, combines, and cotton pickers. Jim labored with his dad and siblings from sunup to early night hours. Arduous work and long hours became a normal day for Jim. His dad taught him how to maintain all the farm equipment. Jim had a strong background in auto mechanics. His love for farming and outdoor work was demonstrated almost from birth.  Jim took pride in all his work.  Jim loved to sing and play basketball. He loved glamping in his fifth wheel with Tina and Mason, on the Arkansas Riverside in Little Rock, or the Mississippi in Memphis.

Jimmy Lewis Judon was born July 31, 1964 in Union County to the late Marcell and Nettie Judon. Jimmy was the youngest of four born to this union. He attended North Pontotoc High School. He worked at Cooper Tire for a brief period. He began mowing grass on the side and eventually leaving there to begin running his own Lawnscape business in Tupelo, Mississippi around 1992. It was around this time that he became a father to Jimel Judon and a few years later to Kiana Judon.

His business was one of the greater parts of his life. Jim moved to the Fort Smith, Arkansas area in 1997. He worked at Riverside Furniture Factory, once again working lawns on the side until Quality Grounds Management (QGM) grew enough to be his one source of business. This is when he predominantly came to be called ”Judon”, as that is how he would introduce himself. Judon resided in Fort Smith until about 2005 when he moved to Muldrow, Oklahoma. Jim was easily recognizable from afar by his stature and the white cowboy hat he always wore. The most often heard comment to Jim was, "Judon, I see your white cowboy hat out mowing EVERYWHERE!". In 2009, Judon's last love story began when he married Tina Brignac. He found her on Yahoo. They met for the first time at a small church on N. 32nd street on January 18, 2009. They married March 28, 2009. Judon provided, protected, and championed Tina and her two sons, Jacoby and Mason.

His dedication and love for what he accomplished will live on. He truly left a legacy.
