Funeral Service for Jimmy Ray Stubblefield, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral Service for Jimmy Ray Stubblefield, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Stigler, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Jimmy Ray Stubblefield was born on July 26, 1942 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Pete and Minnie (Shaver) Stubblefield. He lived there until 1962 when he moved with his sister, JoAnne, to Terra Bella, California to work. He met his wife, Barbara Ann (Kinman) Stubblefield, in Terra Bella and they were married on March 2, 1963. They had their son, Tony, there and lived there for four years then moved to Stigler, Oklahoma where they had their second son, Derrick.

He went into business with his brother, Sam, at the garage and then went to work for Glen Partain in plumbing. He was also a contractor for subcontractor, Bill. In 1986, he started building starters and alternators and ran a successful business until he became ill in April 2022.
Jimmy passed away on August 13, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

He loved life and made many wonderful friends. He was loved by everyone, always willing to help, never met a stranger and was a one-of-a-kind. He will be missed very much by his family and many friends.

Survivors are:

wife, Barbara of the home;

2 granddaughters, Tarran Bankston and Jonathan and Nichole Ward and Blake, all of Muldrow, OK;

2 great-grandchildren, Konner Derrick Bankston and Adyson Ward;

1 sister, JoAnne Hall and James of Stigler, OK;

1 brother, Sam Stubblefield and Pat of Stigler, OK;

and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends and acquaintances.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Tony Stubblefield and Derrick Stubblefield; his parents; four sisters, Pauline Green, Patsy Stubblefield, Pat Ball and Jewell Collins; and one brother, Bill Stubblefield.

Active Pallbearers will be Konner Bankston, Gary Stubblefield, Sam Stubblefield, Ronnie Palmer, H. Palmer, Dale Dyer, Loy Watts and Joe Hatfield.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dalen Garner, Earl Oldham, Stan Watts, Ray Watts, Tim Palmer and Melvin Cook.

Viewing will be Noon – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
