Memorial Service for Jimmy Ted Lewis, Sr., 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Family visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.

Jimmy Ted Lewis, Sr. died on March 8, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 79.

He spent many years employed by Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) in Fort Smith, Arkansas. God called Jim and Garlene to home missions at The Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He also enjoyed helping the family business, Floral Express Flower Market in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jimmy was involved in the youth and bus ministry of Windsor Park Baptist Church in Fort Smith. He enjoyed racing and riding motorcycles. His greatest racing accomplishment was winning the 1971 Arkansas/Oklahoma State Championship Motocross in the 125cc class. He was also an avid tournament bass fisherman. Some of his greatest joys were attending family reunions, watching his grandchildren play sports, and telling a good story to anyone who would listen.

Jimmy is survived by his sons, J. Ted, Marcus, and David (Linda); daughter-in-law, Michelle; grandsons, Dave (Courtney), and Jason (Kristen); granddaughter, Ryleigh; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Liam, Britton, Olivia, Jovey, Piper, Remy, and Noelle. He is also survived by his siblings, Tommy (Daphene), Judy (Larry), Donnie, Lloyd (Sandy), Eddie (Jeannie), Linda (Gary), Robert “Cotton” (Donna), and Faye (Mike).

He is preceded in death by the love of his life of 58 years, Garlene; son, Mike; his parents Ted & Ruby Lewis; siblings, Dianna, Jack, and Ronnie.
