Funeral Service for Jimmy Vann, 74, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at New Beginnings Christian Center in Roland, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on September 12, 1948 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Katie Marie (Vann) Vann and Bill Scott Vann and passed away on October 1, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was formerly a line worker at Baldor Electric Company and of the Pentecostal faith. Jimmy loved hunting, horseshoes and watching football. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors are two daughters, Kimberly Armstrong and Guy of Sallisaw, OK and Rhonda Osborne of Muldrow, OK;
four grandchildren, Christina Williams and Richard of Muldrow, OK, Alan Lemons and Ana of Sallisaw, OK, Trevor Wilbanks and Blake of Gore, OK and Michael Lemons of Sallisaw, OK;
seven great-grandchildren, Canaan Wilbanks, Avrie Wilbanks, Lanie Shae Wilbanks, Calynn Lemons, Clara Lemons, Linneah Williams and Adelaide Williams;
three sisters, Lucy Catcher of Greasy, OK, Susie Cherry of Sallisaw, Ok and Amy Vann of Kirk Mountain, OK;
three brothers, Johnny Vann of Greasy, OK, Jody Vann of Greasy, OK and Cornelius “Banan” Vann of Rocky Mountain, OK;
and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Martin and Watie Vann.
Active Pallbearers will be Alan Lemons, Trevor Wilbanks, Michael Lemons, Richard Williams, P.J. Vann and Willis Catcher.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Guy Armstrong, Johnathan Lowder, Brandon Vann, Soldier Vann, Banan Vann, Jody Vann, Johnny Vann, Justin Vann, Michael Hooper, Caleb Vann, Bill Vann, Landon Vann, Hunter Vann, Thomas Vann and Pernell Vann.
