Jimmy Vessell

Funeral Service for Jimmy Vessell, 84, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Jimmy was born on October 14, 1939 to Opal Vera (Duvall) Vessell and James Odus Vessell and passed away on January 10, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a Christian and ready to enter into his eternal home.

Survivors are three daughters, Drena Nix (husband Alan) of Buckner, AR, Dusene Gracie of Hot Springs, AR, and Darla Willis of Canon City, CO; three grandchildren, Kathryn Roy, Spencer Gracie, and Macy Willis; one great grandson, Bryce Roy; two sisters, Carol Falleur of Muldrow, OK and Shirley Goodwin of Owasso, OK; the mother of his children, Judy Vessell; a special niece, Cathy Plank; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Muriel Hallum; one brother, Bobby Vessell; and one granddaughter, Candace Nix McDaniel.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Friday, January 19, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. The family will greet visitors from 9 – 10 AM Saturday before the service.
