Graveside Service for Joe “Jake” Fivekiller, 89, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on October 25, 1931 in Cave Springs, Oklahoma to Lucy Vallie (Reynolds) Fivekiller and Spencer Fivekiller and passed away on May 17, 2021 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a furniture builder, rancher and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are:

wife: Shirley Fivekiller of Sallisaw, OK;

son: Jeff Fivekiller and Shelly of Sallisaw, OK;

daughter: Jo Davenport and Trent of Sallisaw, OK;

9 grandchildren: Derek Fivekiller and Lauren of Fort Smith, AR, Audra Nunez and Miguel of Sallisaw, OK, D.J. Turner and Keyla McMilian of Sallisaw, OK, Dustin Turner and Lisa Prasith of Fort Smith, AR, Jeromy Davenport of Edmond, OK, Jadon Davenport of Edmond, OK, Jayla Davenport of Stillwater, OK, Heather Woods and Robert of Sallisaw, OK and Ashley Fivekiller of Oklahoma City, OK;

7 great-grandchildren: Austin Nunez, Tytus Turner, Lynnon Turner, Kenji Turner, Hadley Woods, Jake Woods and Jax Woods;

daughter-in-law: Carla Fivekiller of Sallisaw, OK;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Fivekiller; parents; two brothers, Brady Fivekiller and Watie Fivekiller; and two sisters, Lois Fivekiller and Evelyn Butler.
