Funeral service for Joe M. Price, 94 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on June 25, 1925 in Stuart, Oklahoma to Mary Elizabeth Bailey Price and Charles “Bud” Price and passed away on May 17, 2020 in Pocola, Oklahoma. He was married to Helen Reed Price on March 15, 1958 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on April 16, 2002. Mr. Price was a sample builder at Riverside Furniture, a member of Liberty Pentecostal Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was very active in his church and was a musician, playing several stringed instruments. He loved raising cattle and fishing with anyone that wanted to go with him.

Survivors are:

4 daughters: Phyllis Moore and Gary of Russellville, AR, Cathy Mitchell and Randy of Muldrow, OK, Diana Mitchell and Danny of Muldrow, OK and Reta Jackson and Douglas of Spiro, OK;

1 son: Charles Price and Karen of Pearland, TX;

16 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren;

1 sister: Juanita Goodrich of Richmond, CA;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bud and Mary Price, wife: Helen Reed Price, 1 son: Ronnie Kidd , 2 sisters: Lorene Brown and Connie Price and 3 brothers: Eugene, C.B. and Jack Price.

Active Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
