John Bill Sanders

Graveside service for John Bill Sanders, 67 of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Dwight Mission Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 26, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Helen (Mendez) Sanders and John Brown Sanders and passed away on September 19, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Sanders was a concrete finisher. He like to hunt and fish and spend time with his family.

Survivors are three daughters, Pauletta Payne and Kenny of Tryon, OK, Janetta Sanders of Stillwater, OK and Johnna Baldridge of Sallisaw, OK; one son, John “Boomer” Sanders and Crystal of Stillwater, OK; seven grandchildren, Kaleb Trueblood of Tryoln, OK, Darik Trueblood of Sallisaw, OK, Taylor Sanders, Kylee Sanders and Josie Sanders, all of Stillwater, OK, Jose Rodriguez and Angel Lopez of Sallisaw, OK; two great-grandchildren, Isaac Trueblood of Sallisaw, OK and Emberly Sanders of Stillwater, OK; three sisters, Linda Sizemore and Donnie of Vian, OK, Takie Brooks and Jim of Vian, OK and Kathy James of Vian, OK; special friend, Keith of Vian, OK; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Peggy Crawford; one brother, Ricky Sanders; two nieces, Tammy Sizemore and Shelly Crawford.

Active Pallbearers will be Taylor Sanders, Matt Peters, Austin Peters, Juan Valadez, Brandon Valadez and Jose Rodriguez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Darik Trueblood, Kaleb Trueblood, Sean Smith and Joe Ziemba.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Sunday.
