John Clark Garvin

Memorial Visitation for John Clark Garvin, 77, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 9, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Pauline I. (Davis) Garvin and Lee Amos Garvin and passed away on January 20, 2020 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was a home builder and former horse trainer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

wife: Jan Garvin of the home;

daughter: Mikki and Dave Pratt of Gans, OK;

granddaughter: Jolie Gail Goodman of Gans, OK;

grandson: Kaden John Corderman of Gans, OK;

4 sisters: Yvonne of Central, OK, Fay of Hanson, OK, Kay of Checotah, OK and Jodi of Akins, OK;

several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pat.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John Mahan and Byron Poindexter.

Family will greet friends 6 – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
