John Donald Lewis

Funeral Service for John Donald Lewis, 27, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 12, 1998 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Tammy Dawn Wallace and Kenneth Raper and passed away on April 6, 2025 in Warner, Oklahoma. He was married to Reanna Kirkpatrick on December 4, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

John had a very sweet and tender heart, especially for the homeless. He was such a gentleman, he would always open car doors for the ladies and would be sure to not let you leave without sprinting out to give you a big hug goodbye. John began struggling in his health at a young age. He not only underwent a life-altering brain surgery, but he simultaneously fought kidney failure. Despite the battle John was facing, he never complained. He loved Jesus. John attended Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was baptized in 2022.

John loved music, it was his happy place. He enjoyed playing his Ukulele, video games, and watching WWE. He liked hats and also collected them. Whether it was the middle of winter or 100+ degrees, you would always find John rocking his favorite leather jacket! It was practically glued to him. He loved the outdoors, and all types of animals, especially DOGS--he was like a dog whisperer and all the dogs would run straight to him. Most of all John loved his family. Reanna was his very best friend, Jireh was the light of his life, and he held a very special place for each one of his family members in his heart. John will be greatly missed.

Survivors are wife, Reanna of the home; one son, Jireh Lewis of the home; mother, Tammy Wallace of Sallisaw, OK; father, Kenneth Raper of Poteau, OK; two brothers, James Lewis and wife, Harmony, of Sallisaw, OK and Josh Lewis of Sallisaw, OK; nephew, Elijah James Lewis; grandmother, Ella Asher of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Alexandrea Lewis.

Active Pallbearers will be James Lewis, Kenneth Raper, Rick Raper ad Bronson Taylor.

Viewing will be 4 - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Go Fund Me to help support his family in their time of need.
