John Paddy

Funeral service for John Paddy, 77 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

He was born on July 19, 1945 in Gambrills, Maryland to Gladys (Kirby) Paddy and Russell Paddy and passed away on December 14, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Rachel Lorraine (Bladen) Paddy on November 8, 1968 in Gambrills, Maryland. She preceded him in death on July 31, 1996. Mr. Paddy worked for Sallisaw Lumber Company for 45 years. He was a carpenter and was fondly known as “The Window Man”. He was an avid motorcycle rider who only rode Harleys and attended Friendly Pentecostal Church of Van Buren.

Survivors are one daughter, Lisa Randolph and Rick of Sallisaw, OK; one granddaughter, Harlie Randolph of Sallisaw, OK and one grandson, Aaron Randolph of Sallisaw, OK; honorary children, Craig and Michelle Lee and their children, Lance and Dorothy Heinen and their children and Trevon Frye; one sister, Mitchie; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sisters, Patsy and Linda and two brothers, Lenny and Butchie.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Sallisaw Lumber Company.

Viewing will be 10 am – 6 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 3 – 5 pm Sunday.
