Funeral Service for John Roy Mayberry, 84, of Muldrow, Oklahoma and formerly of Claremore, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 21, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ocie (Denbo) Mayberry and Ovid Mayberry and passed away on August 8, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Kimberly Ann (Van Fleet) Mayberry on April 3, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John was formerly a real estate broker.

Survivors are:

wife, Kim of the home;

children, Bryan Mayberry and wife, Denise, of Claremore, OK, Ben Mayberry of Tulsa, OK, Blake Farmer of Gulf Breeze, FL, Mia Nuttle and husband, Dustin, of Owasso, OK and Christian Mayberry of Muldrow, OK;

8 grandchildren;

1 sister, Marie Cline of Claremore, OK;

1 twin brother, Ray Mayberry of Tulsa, OK;

and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marcellette Iovine and Marlene Dover.

Active Pallbearers will be Larry Hanes, Zach Hanes, Jerry Dover, Sean Ewalt and Jim Stem.
