He was born on September 5, 1932 in Upland, California to Hazel Frances (Beck) Gardner and William Arthur Gardner and passed away on July 15, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Emma Gardner. He was a switchboard operator Los Angeles Water and Power, U.S. Air Force Veteran of Korean War, and a member of First Assembly of God.
Survivors are:
Wife: Emma of the home
1 son: Jon Gardner of Sallisaw, OK
1 daughter: Laura Torres of Lancaster, CA
6 grandchildren
1 sister: Mary Murch of Texas
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Ann (Murray) Gardner; 1 daughter, Kimberly; 1 son, Leon Gardner; his parents, William and Hazel Gardner; and 1 brother, George Gardner
Viewing will be Thursday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
