Johnnie Lee Fox

Johnnie Lee Fox, age 75, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and formerly of Warner, Oklahoma, passed away on December 13,2024. He was born on January 14, 1949, in Fowler, California, to Deloris Elva (Hill) Fox and Henry Lee Fox.

Johnnie was married to Loretta (Brown) Fox. He dedicated many years to working for Muskogee County, and he took great pleasure in spending his free time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to visit the casino, where he found joy and excitement. 

Johnnie is survived by his wife, Loretta, who resides at their home. He leaves behind a daughter, Cathy Dunahoo and Bobby of Muskogee, OK; and three sons, Cecil Dunn and Kimberly Walkabout of Muskogee, OK, Johnnie Fox of Bakersfield, CA, and Joey Fox of Bakersfield, CA. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Johnnie is also survived by his sister, Amanda Robles and Manuel of Bakersfield, CA; and his brother, Dewey Fox of Bakersfield, CA. He is remembered by many other relatives and friends who held a special place in his heart.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl Fox and Henry Fox; two sisters, Louise Fox and Mary Lou Fox; and one grandson, Danny Wayne Reed.

A cremation service for Johnnie Lee Fox will be held under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Johnnie will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
