Joseph Lewis Strong, Jr.

Graveside Service for Joseph Lewis Strong, Jr., 64, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 8, 1958 in Springfield, Illinois to Araminta (Wilson) Strong and Joseph Lewis Strong and passed away on November 1, 2022 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Paula (Russell) Strong on December 8, 1980 in Dillon, South Carolina. Joe was a Veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne, 1st and 505th infantry.  He was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are wife, Paula of the home; two daughters, Jordan Leininger and Josh of Hendersonville, N.C. and Kendra Armer and Brett of Muldrow, OK; five grandchildren, Jewel Leininger, Gunner Leininger, Jemma Leininger, Myles Armer and Moses Armer; two brothers, Roger Strong and Shennia of Muldrow, OK and Tyrone Strong and Patty of Pocola, OK; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Paul Strong.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 2 – 4 PM.
