Joseph Moomau died peacefully in his home in Brentwood, California surrounded by his family on October 13, 2021. He was born on December 18, 1967, in Redondo Beach, California to Edward and Shirley Moomau. He married Palma Lisa Bowles on December 12, 1987.

Joe graduated from Granada High School in Livermore, California in 1986. He began working for AMS in 1995, where he became Vice President of Operations.

Joe was passionate about studying Martial Arts including Wing Chun, Hung Gar, Tiger Crane and Escrima. He attained level 8 (instructor level) in the art of Escrima. Joe’s love for God was evident in the way he helped his friends and neighbors and how he loved and protected his family! Joe had a great sense of humor that he passed on to both of his children.

Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lisa. He had two children, Jordan (Kellie) Moomau, and Mikayla Moomau. He had 2 grandchildren (Noelle and Hailie). He is also survived by his sister Marianne (Caracash) as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ed Moomau.

While we are saddened by his passing, we are comforted by the knowledge of his eternity.
