Josephine Gard, 76 of Gans, Oklahoma passed away on October 31, 2017 in Gans, Oklahoma. She was born on December 7, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Josephine (Mehler) Mier and Lester Fredrick Mier. She was married to Charles Lee Gard on October 26, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a book binder, caterer, and of the Assembly of God faith.

2 daughters and sons in law: Krestel and Mark Driscoll of St. Charles, MO and Twilia and John Phillips of Gans, OK

2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Kevin Gard and fiance, Tammy Caine of Desoto, MO and Shawn and Sherri Gard of Gans, OK

9 grandchildren: Nick, Ashley, Piper, Mary Beth, Joshua, Jacob, Levi, Nicholas, and Matthew

10 great grandchildren

1 brother: Lester Mier of St. Genevieve, MO

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Josephine Mier and 1 sister, Anna Stoll
