May 20, 1976 — July 28, 2023

Funeral service for Joshua Lee Dickerson, 47 of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Services and cremation are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 20, 1976 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Luanne (Kleaves) Herbert and William J Dickerson and passed away on July 28, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Josh lived in Michigan for a good portion of his life before moving to Oklahoma where he had lived for the past 13 years. He was married to Andrea Dickerson on December 28, 2014 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. He was a freight broker and a real estate broker.

Josh was a man of integrity, kindness and had a heart of gold. He was a loving husband, son and father, not only to his own children, but also to other kids who needed a little help or guidance. His whole life was about providing for his family, not only financially, but with his loving and caring ways. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and being on the water with his family. He enjoyed evening back-roading with his wife in their side-by-side, coming back to play cards, listening to music and even dancing under the stars.

Because of his love for the outdoors, he created a web site called Get Kids Outdoors to encourage other parents to get their children to do outdoor activities of any nature.

Josh was a genuinely down-to-earth good person and left this earth and all of us way too soon. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
