Joyce E. (Wheeler) Hopson

Graveside Service for Joyce E. Hopson, 83, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Cookson Proctor Cemetery in Cookson, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 29, 1940 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Dorothy (Terry) Wheeler and Andrew Wheeler and passed away on August 17, 2023 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Vernon Hopson on November 2, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Survivors are husband, Vernon of the home; two daughters, Teresa Hopson of Muldrow, OK and Dana Swanson of Muldrow, OK; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Bruce Wheeler.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
