Joyce O'Neal

Joyce O'Neal, age 73, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was born on February 5, 1952, to Irene (Hughes) Riddle and Port Athel "P.A." Riddle. Joyce was united in marriage to Lee Roy O'Neal on June 27, 1969, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2024.

Joyce dedicated her career as an adjuster for Shelter Insurance and found great joy in her faith. She had a deep-seated love for reading the Bible, listening to gospel music, and watching sermons and services on YouTube. Her devotion to the Lord was a guiding force in her life.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving family, which includes her daughter, Kandrea Fowler and her husband Toby of Poteau, Oklahoma; her son, Dustan O'Neal and his wife Heather of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and her six grandchildren: Sara Fowler, Mackenzie O'Neal, Izzy O'Neal, Asher O'Neal, Mason Fowler, and Darby Fowler.

Joyce is also survived by several other relatives and friends who will hold her memory dear. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Bob Riddle.

A funeral service in honor of Joyce will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Dora Assembly of God Church in Dora, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Active pallbearers will include Butch Floyd, Jerry Smith, Stan Fowler, Toby Fowler, and Asher O'Neal.

Viewing will be from noon to 8 PM on Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will receive guests from 6 to 8 PM.
