Juanita Sue (Jones) Hobbs

Funeral Service for Juanita Sue (Jones) Hobbs, 76, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Roland Hills Baptist Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 13, 1947 in Nicut, Oklahoma to Stella Jean (Byrd) Jones and Noel Claude "Tom" Jones and passed away on March 26, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  She was married to Bob L. Hobbs on June 11, 1992 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on January 4, 2017.  She was an early childhood educator with Cherokee Nation.  She taught Headstart at Belfonte Public Schools for over 20 years and worked for Sparks Hospital for 10 years as an Information Specialist.

Survivors are three daughters, Teresa Garner and Tony of Kibler, AR, Nancy Duty of Roland, OK and Suzanne Hemphill of Roland, OK; seven grandchildren, Jessica Southerland and Houston of Sallisaw, OK, Matthew Garner of Van Buren, AR, R.J. Hemphill of Roland, OK, Savannah Garner of Kibler, AR, Kassidy Eagle and Falon of Roland, OK, Olivia Garner of Kibler, AR and McKenna Garner of Kibler, AR; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Anne Southerland and Trenton Southerland of Sallisaw, OK; and Raelynn Gayer of Roland, OK; brother, Jargo Jones and Carla of Muldrow, OK; sister, Joann Hancock of Bentonville, AR; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hobbs; parents; and three brothers, Johnny, Bobby and Jimmy Jones.

Active Pallbearers will be Jamie Jones, Jeremy "Boog" Jones, Matthew Garner, Richard Snider, Houston Southerland and Ronnie Hemphill. 

Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 4 - 6 PM.
