Funeral service for Juawanda Annette (Shumate) Eppler, 58 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 4, 1963 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to April Valerie (Scantling) Shumate and Robert Shumate and passed away on November 24, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Annette was a courier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors are one daughter, JaCynda Eppler of Sallisaw, OK;

one son, C.J. Eppler of Sallisaw, OK;

one granddaughter, Kiera Eppler of Sallisaw, OK;

two sisters, Renee Vanzandt of Oregon and Jana Walkley of Washington;

one brother, Bobby Shumate of Sallisaw, OK;

several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Active Pallbearers will be C.J. Eppler, Clifford Eppler, Bobby Shumate, Wyatt Shumate, David Taylor and Phil Henry.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
