She was born on January 7, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Francis (Bond) Phelan and James Phelan and passed away on May 8, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Gary Holt on June 14, 1997 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a true caregiver and loved to take care of kids. She loved to fish and had a green-thumb, especially for all colors of roses.
Survivors are husand, Gary of the home; two daughters, Teresa Gibson of Sallisaw, OK and Faith Holt of Gans, OK; three sons, James Gibson and Debbie of Sibley, MO, Leonard Thompson and Tarai of Roland, OK and Miles Holt and Pamela of Sallisaw, OK; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Jimmie Phelan of Fort Smith, AR, Rita Obermann and Charlie of Joplin, MO, Sally Phelan of Fort Smith, AR, Janie Phelan of California, Joyce Phelan of Muldrow, OK and Mary Phelan of Georgia; two brothers, T.J. Phelan of Fort Smith, AR and Johnny Phelan of Liberty, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joan Phelan and Susie McGee; and two brothers, Leon Seagraves and William Phelan.
Active Pallbearers will be Little James Gibson, Josh Gibson, Jake Gibson, Julian Shahan, Trystan Holt and Isaiah Thompson.
Viewing will be 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm.
