Funeral Service for Judy Mae (Lewis) Bowman, 77, of Winganon, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Judy Mae (Lewis) Bowman, 77, went to be with The Lord on April 25, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.

Judy Mae (Lewis) Bowman was born on October 18, 1943 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Ted Roosevelt Lewis and Ruby Jewell (Singleton) Lewis. She grew up in Muldrow, Oklahoma and attended Muldrow Public Schools where she graduated in 1961.

Judy married Larry Dean Bowman on August 17, 1973 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The couple were longtime residents of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where they raised their family and made many lifelong friends. Judy was employed at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Company for many years, before becoming a full-time homemaker. During their retirement years, Judy and Larry moved to Grand Lake where they resided for 10 years before moving to their current residence in Winganon, Oklahoma.

Judy enjoyed traveling, shopping, baking and time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. She always looked forward to the Annual Lewis Family Reunion at Brushy Lake in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Judy is preceded in death by her daughter, Kenda Cook; her son, Keith Cook; her great-granddaughter, Alana King; her parents, Ted and Ruby Lewis; her brothers, Jimmy Ted Lewis, Ronald “Bird” Lewis and Jack Lewis; and her sister, Diana Lewis.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Bowman of the home; her daughters, Kandace Bell of Tulsa, OK, Kristi Holmes and James of Winganon, OK; her son, Kevin Lewis of Winganon, OK; her step-daughter Angie Hayes and Danny of Winganon, OK; her step-son Troy Bowman and Janet of Nowata, OK; sisters, Linda Jackson and Gary of Sallisaw, OK and Faye Smith and Mike of Spiro, OK; brothers, Tommy Lewis and Daphene of Dinuba, CA, Donnie Lewis of Muldrow, OK, Lloyd Lewis and Sandy of Roland, OK, Eddie Lewis and Jeanne of Hackett, AR and Cotton Lewis and Donna of Muldrow, OK; eleven grandchildren, Amanda King and Mekko, Shelby Cook, Kassie Stafford and Dylan Spoon, Hayley Baković and Davor, Alexis Holmes, Blake Holmes, Kyle Hayes and Lacee, Dustin Hayes, Dylan Hayes and Cheyenne, Jessica Bobeck and Brody, and Hunter Bowman and Sierra; seven great-grandchildren, Junior King, Morgan King, Adasyn Hayes, Tynlee Hayes, Dalton Hayes, Gracyn Hayes, Skyler Malone and one on the way, Abram Bowman; many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Active Pallbearers will be Justin Lewis, David Lewis, Davor Baković, Jamie Jones, Derek Brown, Tony Lewis and Dylan Spoon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Lewis Nephews.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
