Funeral Service for June Peoples, 72, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 3:30 PM on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Church of Christ (across from the bank) in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

June Peoples, 72, of Vian, Oklahoma was born on August 29, 1950 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Ovid (Young) Wiles and passed away on March 1, 2023 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Johnny Peoples on March 5, 1970 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mrs. Peoples was a nurse and of the Church of Christ faith. She liked watching Christmas movies, going to auctions, and having Barbecues and picnics with her family. She also enjoyed collecting dolls, Christmas items and Coca-Cola memorabilia.
Survivors are husband of 53 years, Johnny, of the home; one daughter, Montea Johnson and Chris Randolph of Muldrow, OK; one son, Johnny Wayne Peoples and Trudie of Sallisaw, OK; four granddaughters, Teara Turner and Mitchell of Sallisaw, OK, Angelica Johnson of North Carolina, Ariel Preston and Mickey of Bokoshe, OK and Samantha Johnson and Colton of Sallisaw, OK; five grandsons, Sheldon Peoples and Hannah Balentine of Sallisaw, OK, Charlie Cotner of Sallisaw, OK, Tyler Locust of Sallisaw, OK, Michael Locust and partner Logan of Sallisaw, OK and Grant Peoples and Hannah of Wichita, KS; great-grandchildren, Majestic, Zayla, Bentley, Skyler, Kathlina, Kathilaya, Madisen, Connor, McKenzie, River and Mickey; four sisters, Judy Waters of Vian, OK, Mary Adney of Fort Gibson, OK, Alana Bridges of Florida and Patricia Lowe of Florida; and one brother, Leonard Alan Davis and Sandy of Tulsa, OK.
Active Pallbearers will be Chris Randolph, Sheldon Peoples, Grant Peoples, Mitchell Turner, John Smith and Bentley Turner.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM Sunday.
