Services for Kathy Iris Barker, 56 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Prices Chapel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on April 13, 1961 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Rachel Marie (Brasher) Barker and Henry Leon Barker and passed away on February 28, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She a Cook for Sallisaw Public Schools and a Baptist.

Survivors are:

Mother: Rachel Barker of Sallisaw, OK

3 sisters: Polly Frey and Jim of Grass Valley, CA, Mary Barker of Sallisaw, OK, and Helen Christenberry and Wesley of Sallisaw, OK

1 brother: Jimmy Barker and Sandra of Sallisaw, OK

numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Leon Barker

Active Pallbearers will be Junior Branham, Glen Holt, Josh Holt, James Cheater, Mark Hood and Gary Flynn.

Viewing will be Friday 2 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
