Funeral Service for Kelly Youngblood, 70, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Gans High School Gymnasium in Gans, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 11, 1948 in Redland, Oklahoma to Ella Youngblood and Eulous Youngblood, Sr. and passed away on August 26, 2019 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was married to Theresa Lorene Youngblood on November 8, 1989 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2013. Mr. Youngblood was a member of the Gans Public School Board and was retired from the U.S. Army Corps  of Engineers after a combined total of 45 years and was the Captain of Mr. Pat at Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam. He was an U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Gans Bible Church.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Shanna Blevins and Amanda Youngblood

1 son: Jeremy Owens

1 grandson: Lane Smith

1 granddaughter: Brea Smith

companion: Melissa Carpenter and her children, Danielle Elliott and Kyle DeLozier

sister: Necie Cruse and Mike of Ft. Smith, AR

5 brothers: Ronnie Youngblood of Ft. Smith, AR, Terry Youngblood and Dora Mae, of Ft. Smith, AR, Eulous Youngblood and Beverly of Maine, Fred Youngblood and Marie of Kansas City, MO and Albatha Youngblood of Kansas City, KS

several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 2 sisters: Willie Ann “Pete” and Shirley.

Active Pallbearers will be Greg Barnes, Larry Calloway, Robert Booker and James Cheater.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his brothers and his fellow co-workers at the U.S. Corps of Engineers at Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Tuesday, 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday and Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
