Kenneth Dale Harvell

Funeral Service for Kenneth Dale Harvell, 88, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on March 10, 1935 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Pearl (Ruckman) Harvell and Horace “Dink” Harvell and passed away on March 11, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Louise (Young) Harvell on January 18, 1956 in Florida. He was an Educator at Bellefonte and Muldrow Pubic Schools and was an inspector for Neel, Harvell & Associates. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors are wife, Louise of the home; one daughter, Amy Akins and Steve of Muldrow, OK; five sons, Kevin Harvell and Jeanett of Muldrow, OK, Grayson Harvell and Di of Norman, OK, Scott Harvell and Susan Tolbert of Poteau, OK, Barry Harvell and Lori Pence of Muldrow, OK and Lance Harvell and Rhonda of Muldrow, OK; and several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one sister: Ethylee Farmer of Muldrow, OK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Wilma Edwards, Charlene Howard and Juanell Edwards; and one brother, Delmer Harvell.

Active Pallbearers will be Kevin Harvell, Grayson Harvell, Scott Harvell, Barry Harvell, Lance Harvell and Steve Akins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Frederick, Scott Neel, Dennis Day, Perry Broyles, Doug Harvell and Craig Taylor.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
