He was born on March 17, 1944 in Bartow, Florida to Nancy Strange Braxton and Barney Braxton and passed away on July 10, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Marilyn Ruth (Cole) Braxton on November 27, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 8, 2017. Mr. Braxton was an Officer and Electrical Engineer in the U.S. Air Force and later worked for the FAA.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Lisa Boyce of Elgin, SC and Gowynne Landolt and Glen of Sallisaw, OK;

1 son: Kenneth E. Braxton Jr. and Monica of Fairfield, CA;

4 grandchildren: Brittany, Sydney, Justin and Grace;

1 sister: Sheila Braxton of Kissimee, FL;

1 sister in law: Linda Braxton of Oroville, CA;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Marilyn Braxton, son in Law: Raymond Boyce, 1 brother: Richard Braxton, and 1 sister: Brenda.
