Private family service for Kenneth Palmer Sparkman, 92 of Redland community, Oklahoma will be at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 20, 1927 in Redland community, Oklahoma to Emily Katherine (Palmer) Sparkman and Cleveland Walton “C.W.” Sparkman and passed away on November 11, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Rosa Mae (Fargo) Sparkman on October 4, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. . Mr. Sparkman was a maintenance foreman.

Survivors are:

wife: Rosa of the home;

1 daughter: Gwen Henshaw and Ed of Carlisle community, OK;

3 sons: Kenny Sparkman and Pat of Redland community, OK, Terry Sparkman and Myra of Redland community, OK and Rodney Sparkman and Libby of Tulsa, OK;

8 grandchildren: Johnathan Sparkman and Angie of Broken Arrow, OK, Amanda Miller of McHenry, Il, Kate Smith and Colter of Redland community, OK, Micheala Robinson and J.W. of Ft. Stewart, GA, Christoper Sparkman of Ft. Stewart, GA, Toby Sparkman of Redland community, OK, Sarah Sparkman of Brooklyn, NY and Andrew Sparkman of Tulsa, OK;

4 great grandchildren: Aiden Miller, Chase Miller, Gabe Sparkman and Vincent Robinson;

1 brother: Charles “Sonny” Sparkman and Frankie of Gans, OK;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Ella Weaver, Grace Jones and Melba Daniels and 4 brothers: Carl, Marcel, Jack and Joe Sparkman.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 pm Friday, 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
