Kimberley Kay McKinney-Morris was born on July 10, 1963 in Sallisaw, to Helen (Railey) Sandlin and Arvil McKinney and passed away on July 5, 2022 in Arkoma. She graduated with the class of 1981 from Sallisaw High School where she played the clarinet in the band. She went on to further her education at Northeastern State and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Tourism. Kim worked for many years at Blue Ribbons Downs Race Track until its closing. She always had a smile on her face and a robust laugh. She tried to never let things get her down even when a simple hug at church left her temporarily paralyzed from the neck down. With the help of the Lord and sheer determination she painstakingly bounced back after her first neck surgery becoming semi wheelchair bound. Kim was a strong Christian and prayer warrior and was a member of Blackgum Harvestime Church. With the help of her son, William, she could be found there most every Sunday. Kim will be sorely missed by her loving family and many friends.
