Funeral service for Kyle Reece Major, 37 of Evening Shade, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 21, 1983 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Samantha Michelle (Turman) and Richard David Major and passed away on October 1, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Kaesi Lynn (Sanders) Major on August 21, 2015 in Vian, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs, but most importantly his family.

Survivors are:

wife, Kaesi of the home;

3 children, Brandon Reece Major, Kyle Owen Major and Lilie Michelle Major, all of the home;

mother, Samantha Turman of Evening Shade, OK;

father, Richard Major of Muskogee, OK;

grandparents, Martha Ann Turman of Evening Shade, OK and Janet Major of Muskogee, OK;

aunt, Pamela Cowart and LeRoy of Park Hill, OK;

2 uncles, Randall Turman and Christina of Sallisaw, OK and Terry Southerland Turman of Choctaw, OK;

4-legged companion, Bubz;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Catelynn Michelle Kylie Ann Major; his brother, Brandon David Major; and his grandfather, Owen Reece Turman.

Active Pallbearers will be Brandon Major, Leroy Cowart, Sheldon Cowart, Shawn Cowart, Josh Turman, Bill Turman, Wyatt Turman and Scottie Studie.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Randy Turman and Taylor Sanders.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Wednesday and 10 am – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm Thursday.
