Funeral Service for L.G. Armer, 85, of Short, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Short Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral Service for L.G. Armer, 85, of Short, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Short Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 10, 1935 in Short, Oklahoma to Opal (Walters) Armer and Climon William Armer and passed away on January 7, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Billie (Shorter) Armer on August 16, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. L.G. was a retired machinist for Baldor Electric Company and a horse trader. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Bruton Lodge #30 and a member of Short Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

wife: Billie of the home;

1 daughter: Glenda Fink and Kent of Hulbert, OK;

1 son: Larry Armer and Denise of Short, OK;

5 grandchildren: Craig Alexander of Marble City, OK, Dustin Alexander and Amanda of Stilwell, OK, Lacey Armer of Henderson, NV, Kayla Sockey and Joshua of Durant, OK and Shaina Armer of Short, OK;

4 great-grandchildren: Rylee, Brandy, Kynsie and Stetson;

6 sisters: Melvena Thurman of Rock Island, OK, Lula Bates of Rock Island, OK, Oleta Armer of Roland, OK, Tressie Long of Sallisaw, OK, Lessie Rogers of Van Buren, AR and Lola Matthews of Van Buren, AR;

1 brother: James Armer of Nicut, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Megan Workman; parents; two sisters, Louise Edwards and Mayvena Armer; and three brothers, Leonard, Harold and William Armer.

Viewing and Visitation 10 AM – 4 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 2 – 4 PM Sunday.
