LaDonne Jones

LaDonne Jones, 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on January 31, 2025. Born on January 6, 1944, in Russellville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Rebecca Evelyn (White) Jones and Herbert Hugo "Skeet" Jones. LaDonne is remembered fondly by all who knew her for her kindness and commitment to her community, having worked for the Western Arkansas Employment Development Agency (WAEDA).

LaDonne's family includes her dear brother, Bobby Jones, and his wife Kay of Broken Arrow, OK. She took great pride in her nieces and nephew: Abbie Jones-Hatfield and her husband Sam of Tulsa, OK, Morgan Jones of Tulsa, OK, and Robert Jones and his wife Jordan of Tulsa, OK. Also surviving her are two great-nieces, Ellie and Kate; and one great-nephew, Henry; along with several other relatives and friends who will carry her memory forward.

LaDonne was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca and Herbert Jones. 

Her legacy will be honored with a viewing scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church in Belleville, Arkansas. She will be laid to rest at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Belleville, Arkansas, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

In addition to the formal ceremonies, a gathering for family and friends will be held at Noon on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Wheeler Event Center in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, allowing loved ones to fellowship and celebrate the remarkable life of LaDonne Jones. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth and compassion.
