She was born on October 4, 1945 in Gore, Oklahoma to Bessie (Hunter) Anderson and John Wayman Anderson and passed away on August 23, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to James Wilson on September 25, 1982 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Mrs. Wilson worked in the meat department at a grocery store.
Survivors are husband, James of the home; two daughters, Destiny Wilson and Teresa Cates; one son, William Cates; two sisters, Alice Faye Risley of Tulsa, OK and Wanda Holeman of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Crickett Wilson; sisters, Dorothy, Helen, Ida Mae, Anna Faye, Hazel Marie, Lillian Mae, Frances and Imogene and two brothers, Aire and J.W.
Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
