Funeral Service for Larry Lee Kerr, 77, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Larry was born on May 15, 1945 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Elsie Mae (Lee) Kerr and James Kirby Kerr and passed away on December 20, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Abigail (Calhoun) Kerr on March 24, 1972 in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Sallisaw High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Education at Northeastern University. Larry served in the First Infantry Division, Sergeant U.S. Army 1st Aviation Air Assault Unit in Vietnam 1969-1970 and was a lifetime member of VFW 8384 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He worked in construction, and was a teacher and principal at Moffett Public Schools before retiring. He operated Wheels of Fun when it first opened.

Survivors are wife, Gail of the home; two children, Jason Lee Kerr and Jennifer Kay Kerr of Sallisaw, OK; four grandchildren, Jacob Calhoun Dick, Kaleb Christian Glass, Xavier Joe Glass and Jaxon Kirby Kerr; sister, Kay Cole of Sallisaw, OK; niece, Teresa Johnson of Midwest City, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Hershel Cole.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Kerr, Jaxon Kerr, Jacob Dick, Kaleb Glass, Joe Glass and Cole Johnson.

Visitation will be 10 AM – 6 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
